Stradbroke WI are hosting an open meeting on this very serious subject. The meeting will be led by local specialist forensic scientist (Mary Newton) who will introduce the subject and illustrate how forensics plays an important part in reaching a conviction. Mary is local to Stradbroke and was the UK`s lead forensic advisor for Rape investigation for 27 yrs. Her presentation will focus on the problems facing rape investigations and how and why forensic tests are conducted. Mary will also include rape cases she has work on.

All are welcome  to attend.
