Stradbroke Sports & Community Centre (often referred to as just the Community Centre) is the main building for holding all major functions within the village. The building was completed in 1995 and replaced the old village hall and incorporated the sports club thus integrating both sports and social activities in one building. It is run by a management committee of volunteers which includes representatives from various clubs and societies with the village.

The Centre is very much a focal point for a variety of organisations within the village and caters for all ages. The Centre also offers an excellent place to hold private functions and includes a bar manned by volunteers.

The management committee strives to maintain a modern facility and over the years has upgraded both the equipment and the building. It has free WiFi, modern projection facilities, PA, a large screen and surround sound system for showing films and presentations.

All that happens within the Centre is carried out by volunteers without whom the building and facilities would simply not operate. If anyone is interesting in offering their services, please contact any member of the Committee.
