The Children Act (12A)
February 21 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Based on the novel by Ian McEwan, The Children Act is a thought-provoking and intelligent film about the conflict between medical treatment and religious beliefs. Emma Thompson is flawless as the rather chilly judge whose own emotional life is in tatters as her husband wants to embark on an affair but she has to remain cool and objective in her decisions. But this case about a particular young man tugs at her inner soul and makes her question her own ethics.
Doors open at 7pm. Film starts at 7.30pm. Licensed bar open at start and interval. Ice creams on sale during interview.
Entrance £5.50 for adults and £3.00 for 16s and under.
