Stradbroke Allotments are a purpose built site situated on the edge of the village.  Surrounded by rabbit proof fencing and edible hedging and on a North/South slope, we are ideally situated.  We have the advantage of running water, although water butts are recommended if you have a shed on your plot to save water.  We also have a composting toilet, raised beds and a community shed selling a small range of products for members of our association.  We have various fund raising events throughout the year to raise money to maintain the site. There is an allotment open day in the summer, and cake, plant and produce sales at times through the year. The site is owned by the Stradbroke Charitable Trust and managed by the Stradbroke Allotment and Gardeners’ Association.  There is a small fee for membership.
