Stradbroke Good Neighbours – Open Evening: Wednesday 11th September28/08/2024WEDNESDAY 11th SEPTEMBER @ 7.30pm in the WEBB ROOM, at STRADBROKE SPORTS & COMMUNITY CENTRE STRADBROKE GOOD NEIGHBOURS WILL CLOSE AT THE END OF OCTOBER UNLESS MORE PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO BECOME DRIVERS AND PHONE HOLDERS. ‘Stradbroke Good Neighbours’ has been helping people in Stradbroke and the surrounding villages since 2004, taking them for medical appointments and collecting prescriptions. It has now become unsustainable to keep this valuable village organisation running as driver and phone holder numbers have dramatically decreased and the present faithful drivers just cannot keep going.
